Dr. Carlos Garcia, DVM
Practice Focused on Small Animal Surgery | Tampa Bay, Florida
Dr. Carlos Garcia is a small animal veterinarian focused on orthopedic, spinal, and advanced soft tissue surgery. Born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico, he brings a hands-on, practical approach to restoring mobility and improving quality of life for dogs and cats throughout the Tampa Bay area.
After earning his DVM from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Garcia worked as a general practitioner in Miami and Tampa Bay before completing a Small Animal Surgery specialty internship at Affiliated Veterinary Specialists. His mission is to help pets access high-quality surgical care that might otherwise be financially out of reach. He provides his surgical services to over 50 veterinarians across Tampa, Clearwater, and St. Petersburg—bridging the gap between general practice and board-certified surgery.
